Screen Viewing Hints
We have designed the site for ease of viewing for extended periods of time. If for some reason you find our colors distracting, there is a simple solution.
You can change the background colors, and text style and size with a few simple steps on your browser window tool bar.
- Go to Tools at the very top tool bar of your screen.
- Click and scroll down to Internet Options.
- In the General section, find Accessibility.
- Click Accessibility and you will see choices for formatting. Here you can check a box for ignoring colors, font styles or font sizes on the website.
Full Screen View
For a full screen view of the website pages, especially helpful with the e-History, for viewing footnotes and glossary terms within the text, we suggest that you view this website using a "full screen view" option, from your internet browser. For Internet Explorer:
- Go to View at the very top tool bar of your screen
- Click Full Screen and this removes the extra tool bar heading lines so you can have a full view of a webpage
You can also use the F11 function key on the top of your keyboard.
