Screen Viewing Hints

We have designed the site for ease of viewing for extended periods of time. If for some reason you find our colors distracting, there is a simple solution.

You can change the background colors, and text style and size with a few simple steps on your browser window tool bar.

  1. Go to Tools at the very top tool bar of your screen.
  2. Click and scroll down to Internet Options.
  3. In the General section, find Accessibility.
  4. Click Accessibility and you will see choices for formatting. Here you can check a box for ignoring colors, font styles or font sizes on the website.

Full Screen View

For a full screen view of the website pages, especially helpful with the e-History, for viewing footnotes and glossary terms within the text, we suggest that you view this website using a "full screen view" option, from your internet browser. For Internet Explorer:

  1. Go to View at the very top tool bar of your screen
  2. Click Full Screen and this removes the extra tool bar heading lines so you can have a full view of a webpage

You can also use the F11 function key on the top of your keyboard.
